Boy band heartthrobs *NSYNC are set for a reunion – but sadly they won’t be treating their fans to a performance to mark a special 20th anniversary.
The quintet – made up of Justin Timberlake, Lance Bass, Chris Kirkpatrick, joey Fatone and JC Chasez – don’t look likely to ever properly return from their 15-year “hiatus” which has been in effect since 2002.
Lance has now revealed the group will be getting back together for the first time since joining JT at the MTV VMAs back in 2013.
“We’re doing something [special], I don’t know if I can announce it yet,” he told Entertainment Tonight.
“We’re coming out with a really cool vinyl edition of our Christmas album because it’s coming up on the 20 years of [1998’s Home for Christmas]. And then we’re going to be getting our star on the [Hollywood] Walk of Fame this year at some point.”
And the most exciting part?
“We’ll be there,” he revealed. “We just have to decide on a date. We’re terrible at planning things.”
While that is proving difficult, Lance is looking forward to seeing everyone again – and they still stay in touch.
He added: “We talk daily… all five of us. I would have to shoot you if you saw the stuff we wrote to each other.”
